Katoomba - Hunter Valley

This morning we went back to Katoomba to what they call "Scenic World". On the edge of the cliffs that also house Katoomba, There is a very touristic centre that runs a very steep train down to the valley floor, and a slightly less steep cable car. They also have a horizontal cable car going from one cliff to the other. The views are stunning and the walk across the valley floor, which is mostly covered in rainforest, was very nice as well.
Before midday we started heading north towards Hunter Valley through the mountains and valleys along the way. The car drive was very nice with a lot of twists and turns and steep descents and ascents. When we finally drove out of the mountains, the valley was a completely different type of surrounding: long, flowing green en yellow fields spotted with trees en fsrms.
We got to the Bed and Breakfast which is set in a really stunning plot of land. The room is better than we hoped for and we are once more the only guests at the property.
Tomorrow we booked a wine tour in the valley (that way, we can both have a taste of the wines and not have to worry about driving back) and will get to see more of the area.

We hebben even weer geen internet (zitten nu bij de mcdrek) dus volgende verslag zal even op zich laten wachten. foto's zal nog wel langer duren ;)
